The short video work "Stiller Blitz"("Silent Flash") is from Di Yang, who still studies in Kunstakademie Duesseldorf. In those 52 seconds of the video, we see windows with warm and bright lights from our neighbors, as we probably already get used to in the quarantine time, as we admire the solidarity to keep everybody staying at home. Just like the moon has its back side, here another Covid-19 crisis is rising up: Domestic Abuse. Hope, the "silent flash" is not easily being forgotten among all those bright lights.

"Enforcement Quarantine"
Jones, a 26-year-old student, because of Covid-19 pandemic, eventually decided to leave Germany temporarily, to get back to Macau where he came from. His flight arrived in Macau on March.20th, and he was immediately taken with other passengers to a particularly prepared hotel, started his 14 days strict quarantine period. His camera trustily recorded his days and nights being alone in one room isolated, however luckily with a wide window.

Now and again happiness
throws little stones at my window
it wants to tell me that it’s waiting
but I’m feeling calm
I’d almost say level-headed
I’ll keep my anxiety hidden
and then lie flat on my back
which is an elegant and comfortable position
for sorting through the news and believing it
who knows where my next steps will take me
or when my life story will be assessed
who knows what advice I’ll still come up with
and what shortcuts I’ll discover and not take
all’s well, I won’t risk an eviction
I won’t tattoo the callous onto my memory
there’s much left to say and suppress
and many grapes to fill my mouth

A wonderful #openwindow action from literature house Heine Haus Düsseldorf
Since mid-March, all readings and events in the Heine Haus had to be cancelled due to the Corona measures.
The writer Katharina Hacker, who has been awarded among others the German Book Prize and the Düsseldorf Literature Prize, is a frequent guest at the Heine Haus. Her last appearance there was for a reading on 26 February this year.
She contacted the booksellers Selinde Böhm and Rudolf Müller at the beginning of April to ask about them and made them the suggestion of the window display literature: those who had already read or would still read at the Heine Haus could send a few words. "You stick this on the window display and decorate with it, so to speak." Since then, new texts have been added again and again, for example by Büchner Prize winner Lukas Bärfuss. There are also drawings among them. Aris Fioretos writes: "If these miserable days have become memories, flying carpets for everyone!" Or Ruediger Safranski: "But we'll hold out. After all, Hölderlin held out in his Tübingen tower for 36 years of home office!"

Klaus Boegel
"VIS-À-VIS" is a performance art work which artist Klaus Boegel did in 1978. This performance happened on 10th. Jan, as one part of “Window Performance” project which took one week long: Every evening artists showed different performances in a shop window.
In the Performance "VIS-À-VIS" of 1978, Boegel kneels behind the shop window and is fixed to the window pane with adhesive tape on the neck, pulse and waist. After 10 minutes the screen is painted white and a 16mm film is projected onto it. After 15 minutes, Boegel is detached from the glass. His silhouette with the film projection remains visible.
Now organized by Peter Busch and newspaper Niederrhein-Nachrichten, Klaus Boegel represented the performance with an image from the original art work on a local shop’s window.
In the Performance "VIS-À-VIS" of 1978, Boegel kneels behind the shop window and is fixed to the window pane with adhesive tape on the neck, pulse and waist.
